Parent Teacher Association at Halswell School —

PTA Meeting 7pm Wednesday 20 February in Staffroom

Welcome to 2019.  The PTA at Halswell School consists of parents and staff at the school working together to build an inclusive  school community and meet the additional needs of the school and students beyond what is provided by operational funding.  All parents are invited to participate where they can, even if they are unable to attend a meeting. However, meetings do offer the opportunity to be informed on what is happening in the school and to input into discussions so please consider attending. Meetings take place only twice a term.

We have an exciting year planned starting with our Crusaders "Take a School to Footy" fundraiser and an International Fair later in the year.  The major fundraising project for the year is the provision of tiered seating in the hall - a goal that I'm sure everyone who has been to a performance in the school hall over the last few years and had to strain over the person in front of them will agree is entirely worthwhile.
