It is that time of year when the Halswell Holiday Helpers are out spreading Christmas cheer. We are asking the community for donations of children's toys and food to donate to Foster Hope and the Christchurch City Mission.

The Halswell Holiday Helpers are a group of Years 5-8 children, who have been singing at local rest homes and organising Christmas donations for two local charities. We understand 2020 has been a difficult year for lots of people and hope to spread the Christmas cheer. This year we have decided to donate to Foster Hope - a charity that helps foster kids and the Christchurch City Mission. This year we are asking for donations of children's toys, food and toiletries to be placed under the tree in the office starting from this Monday the 23rd November. We will continue to collect donations till the end of Week 9 on Friday the 11th of December. Please make sure these gifts are not wrapped. There is a list attached with ideas for donations.
