Summer Reading an optional programme that I run through our library and it is available to all children who will be returning to Halswell School next year. Students can borrow up to 12 books for the summer (as long as they have returned any overdue books). The library will be open at 2nd lunch in the last week of the term for students to come and choose their Summer Reading books.

Students will be able to borrow their Summer Reading books from Monday 11 December - Monday 18 December. The books will need to be returned in the first two weeks of Term 1, 2024.

Summer Reading Family Night - Wednesday 13 December

We will have a Summer Reading Family Night next Wednesday (13 December), from 6:30-7:30pm, which will be your opportunity to come and choose books with your children. There will be books, posters and other goodies to give away on the night. There is no need to register, just come along on the night.
