LEGO FUN!
Bring your child along to the Halswell School hall on Tues 9th October (school holidays) from 2.45-4.45 for 2 hours of creative, hands on fun with 1000s of pieces of LEGO from House of Bricks! Only $5 per child. All children must be supervised by adults but entry for adults is free. Children under 2 are also free. There will be a bake sale and crafts table as well as some LEGO for sale. Proceeds go towards students from Anna Lee School of Dance who are travelling to the USA next year. REGISTRATIONS OPEN FOR JUNIOR CRICKETRegistrations are now open for Junior Cricket. This year more modifications have been bought in as part of a national "Age & Stage" programme which aims to make junior cricket more Fast Paced & Action Packed and promote Maximum Involvement and lead to Excellerated Skill Acquisition. Most Clubs offer either playing or coaching opportunities for children from years 1-8 and registrations are now open. Most games are played on Saturdays with younger grades also rotating through playing on Friday evenings and higher grade matches are played Saturday afternoons. MARRZIPAN DRAMA
Is your child shy? Do they feel intimidated by the idea of public speaking and performance? Do they sometimes find it difficult to make eye contact? Do they just need dedicated time per week to just be CRAZY?! Come and join the revolutionary self-confidence programme - Marrzipan! We run awesome classes at schools, which focus on key life skills and public speaking ability. We play fun engaging games and perform at the end of term once to parents and once to the school. All scripts are original, engaging, educational and HILARIOUS.
