In the first week of school, our swimmers finally got to compete in the Canterbury Swimming Championships after many delays due to COVID-19.

We had a squad of nine children attend the Canterbury Swimming Champs. I was extremely impressed with their determination and fantastic achievements throughout the day. They supported each other and made Halswell and the Lincoln Zone proud. A special mention and congratulations to Lorna V in Year 8 who placed 3rd in the Girls Butterfly open and 2nd in the Year 8 Girls freestyle.
