Our training band had a great start on Monday with 14 players playing clarinet, trombone, flute, trumpet, percussion, bass and saxaphone. All players learned 5 notes on their first day, have started their first piece and had their first lesson. It is not too late for children to join. If your child is in Years 5-8 and would like to join the band and learn one of the aforementioned instruments you can contact Jody, the band director from Christchurch School of Music directly outreachband@csm.org.nz
