Another couple of busy weeks have flown by. Our juniors finished their swimming rotation last week and our Orongomai and Otawhito groups will start on the 11 of November. We had a fabulous Senior Athletic Sports Day on Friday at Nga Puna Wai and our science learning is well underway.

We have our Maths Information Evening on Wednesday next week 5:30pm. This is a great chance to come and see how maths is being taught at Halswell School and to see it action with some teachers doing demonstration lessons. Please see the article in this newsletter for more detail.

Whole school organisation for 2020 is well underway. We will start with class placements towards the end of week 7, and more information on this will be in the Week 5 newsletter. Please make sure you let us know if your child/ren are not returning in 2020 by filling in this form. This is vital information as we start our organisation.

Stuart is having a productive time overseas (China and Korea) and will be back with us on Monday next week.
