On Wednesday 10th April, our Year 5/6 Rugby League team went to Hagley Park to play in the Canterbury rugby league competition.

Our team played a round robin and they had some tough games. The first game they lost  0 – 6 to the top team, lost the second game 3-4 , drew the third 4 – 4 and won the fourth 7 – 3. We lost against a Linwood team 1- 4 ( that was an impressive result) and ended up playing off for 7th -8th losing 1-2. Even though the team had a couple of knock downs, they played really well against a variety of different teams and played well as  team!
