School App - Important you have it.

The School App is used for a large proportion of our school communication and it is important you have it and that it is set-up correctly. It houses all our newsletters, events calendar, alerts, term dates , links to important sites and is an effective way to send through absences. In an emergency situation we will be sending info out via the school app. It is really important you have it, if you don't please go to your app store and download it, search SchoolAppsNZ. Once downloaded choose Halswell School and follow the prompts.

Selecting learning teams

Please make sure you have selected the learning teams, sport, music, you need messages from, this may have changed if your child(ren) have moved learning centres. Click on the menu (3 little lines top left corner) click on Alert Subscription - make sure you click on the drop down menu 'Learning Teams' select or de-select the teams you need alerts from.

Notifications not showing up on your screen automatically?

First check you have selected the learning teams you need, if that doesn't work check that you have allowed notifications for this app through your settings.
