We had a great day and a great turnout to the Weetbix Kiwi Kids Tryathlon held on Sunday 23rd Feb. Forty-six children competed in the morning event which resulted in us winning the prize for the school with the most entries. The prize was 15 entries to the 20/21 event valued at $900. We also had several other Halswell kids compete in the afternoon event. All children completed the course, represented themselves and our school admirably and I think had a great time. Thanks to the parents who supported this event, we will work to retain the title for most entries at next years event. We will work out before entries open for next year how we will distribute the prize.
