Kapa Haka Competition

On Sunday 1st November, our school Kapa Haka Roopu competed in the Tūhono Competition at the Christchurch Town Hall.

It was fantastic to see our children perform on the big stage against a number of other schools.  We were particularly proud of Tainui P, who won best male whakamihi!  Congratulations Tainui!

On behalf of the group we would like to thank Whaea Tania and Matua Willy for being awesome tutors and helping the children get to performance standard!  We would also like to thank the Halswell School PTA for our new uniform.
