On Sunday the 4th of December, a group of our tamariki took the Stormwater Superhero Trailer to Te Hapua Halswell Centre. The tamariki shared their knowledge of the Longfin Tuna (Eel) in your local Nottingham awa (stream) and why we need to keep stormwater clean to save our tuna and our awa. They’ve really become kaitiaki (guardians) of their local awa Te Tauawa A Maka (Nottingham stream)- Kapai Tamariki!
