A reminder that this year’s Meet the Teacher Learning Conferences will be taking place on Wednesday 19 (2pm-6.30pm) and Thursday 20 February (3.30pm-8pm). The purpose of these conferences is for T Group teachers, parents and children to meet to discuss strengths and areas for improvement and to set goals for the upcoming year. A pre-conference form will be sent home on Friday for families to complete to help guide the discussion.

To book a conference please visit the school interviews website and enter the following Halswell School code fcxvy. Bookings will close at 3pm on Monday 17 February and are made on a first-in first-served basis.

Please note that as a result of feedback from last year’s Parent Reporting Survey, we have extended the Meet the Teacher Conferences to 15 minutes per child. We encourage all children to attend the conferences but if you would like to discuss anything without your child present, please let the T Group teacher know at the beginning of the conference and the last 5 minutes will be reserved for this.

Finally, to ensure there are enough slots available for all families, classes will be finishing at 2pm on Wednesday 19 February. Please make arrangements to collect your child(ren) at this time.
