This year we are introducing Wordlab to build on our successful phonics programme.

Wordlab is a New Zealand designed and research backed spelling programme.  We will be using it as our main approach to teaching spelling once children have completed our phonics programme.  The Wordlab approach teaches children how to study a word, a much more effective spelling strategy than rote memorisation. This approach has benefits in building vocabulary,  spelling skills and how our language works.
