Our group of 50 Years 5-8 Halswell Holiday Helpers went to the Summerset Retirement Village in Wigram to show our community spirit.

We spent an hour with the residents of Summerset, singing a variety of songs, sharing our learning, and chatting about the experiences they have had. We had two brave students share their fantastic speeches. It was fantastic to see these children represent Halswell with pride and show what great Communicators and Versatile Players they can be. This group will be visiting Summerset and Anthony Wilding Retirement Village in Adainfield again for Christmas later on in the term.
