Book Fair Family Night
Our Scholastic Book Fair is on next week as part of our Book Week and we are having a special family night that the whole family can come along to. The Book Fair will be open in the library from 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesday 15 November. I'll be reading some of the wonderful books that you can purchase from the Book Fair from 6:30-7:00 and then you can come and purchase books if you would like.
Book Fair wishlists
Your children will all be visiting the Book Fair during the week and will be putting the title and price of their favourite books on a wishlist. These are just a guide for you and there is no obligation to buy all or any of the books on the wishlist. It is a way to make it easier to know what appeals to your children from the huge selection that comes with the Book Fair. If you come to the Book Fair with your children you can just bring this wishlist along and we will help you find the items you want.
Parent and Adult Library
If you are coming in the library to check out the Book Fair with your children please grab a book for yourself from our Parent and Adult Library. Our Parent Library is stocked with parenting books for you to borrow and the Adult Library has a selection of adult fiction that you can swap for one of your own books. I'm happy to take donations too if you have any unwanted books at home that are in good condition.

We have some fantastic readers who write wonderful book reviews for our library blog. Lena Abdinor is our star reviewer. She often brings book reviews in to me to pop up on the blog and I can always tell how much Lena has enjoyed the books she has read. Alice Hooper has also written a fantastic review of Kelly Wilson's latest book too.
