On Friday the 7th of May, we had 14 Year 5 and 6 children go to the Canterbury Rugby Fun Day at Burnside Park. This was a great opportunity for the kids to work on their rugby skills while playing against a range of different schools.

The day started with the sun shining, ready for the team to play their hearts out. They played against Hornby, West Rolleston, and Leeston, with some tough competition. As the day progressed the children listened to the feedback and worked together as a team. They played with heart and resilience throughout the day. Even though some of the calls didn't go their way, they kept their heads high, played fairly with integrity.  

A huge thank you to Dave A who coached the team on the day. We really appreciate you giving up your time. It was also great to have all the parents there to support the kids.
