Environment News

Karen Collins —

It was great to see an improvement in rubbish around the school during Plastic Free July. Lets keep it going!

There are more and more children coming to school with rubbish free lunch-boxes. Well done, you are helping to keep our Halswell School environment beautiful.

Remember to bring your own reuseable cup for your morning coffee from our school cafe.

We are holding a beeswax wrap making workshop for staff to encourage rubbish free lunches.  Hopefully they can then pass this skill onto your children. Stay tuned for some photos!

As part of the nationwide Conservation Week, we will be having some fun activities in the library and around the school focussing on looking after our environment.
