We are well aware of the challenges many of our families face when we take teacher only days. These have been used historically as a means of reducing costs to the school, by not having to employ relievers during the term time, and giving the whole of staff access to quality professional development; an essential part of any progressive school.

To reduce the difficulties parents have in providing supervision on teacher only days, the teaching staff have agreed to use a day in each of their school holidays for professional development, thereby negating the need for parents to organise cover.

This allows us to start significantly later than we may otherwise do, with the first day of the new school year being the 4th February.

The dates are:

Term 1: 4th Feb- 12th April

Term 2: 29th April - 5th  July

Term 3: 22nd July - 27th September

Term 4: 14th October - 19th December
