This term we have had four Years 3 and 4 basketball teams competing in the Pioneer Basketball Competition. The competition ran for six weeks and all teams showed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

Halswell Thunder

This team played in the Thursday competition and were coached by Alan Mears. The team worked hard each week and had a lot of fun playing their games. A huge thank you to Alan for giving up his time for this.

Halswell Heat

One of our three Wednesday night teams, the Halswell Heat had some great games and developed their confidence and skills over the six weeks. A big thank you to the Thomas family for taking on the coaching role with this team.

Halswell Kings

This team went from strength to strength over the six weeks. They benefited from some great training and coaching from Fabian Kulpe and showed great improvement in skills and teamwork - Thanks to Fabian for all his time.

Halswell Rams

This team finished as A grade champions after going through the season unbeaten. They won many of their games by big margins and it was awesome to see them demonstrate how great teamwork makes a great team. Again they were lucky to have great training and coaching from Jason Dellaca. Thanks to Jason for all his time.
