We had just over 80 children registered to compete in the Weet-bix Kids Tryathlon on Sunday. Unfortunately due to Covid Level 2 restrictions it was cancelled at the last minute. Most of the tryathlon kits came to school with Kash and Navi, our Sport Leaders, doing a great job distributing them. 

Many children have, or will complete a DIY Try in their own time. Information came out about this from the Tryathlon organisers. If you have taken or do take any photos or short video of your children completing their DIY Try please send it to rob.naysmith@halswell.school.nz and we will turn it into a movie/slide show for assembly. It would be great to celebrate the children's (and parent's) efforts in still completing a modified tryathlon. Remember it can be totally modified so they can miss out the swim altogether.
