20 of our Year 7/8 students competed in the Canterbury Indoor Tournament last week. They showed enthusiasm for learning a new sport and great sportsmanship. A big thank you to Miss Eastwick and Miss Bush who coached our teams.

Badminton 

Halswell had some fantastic results in the Canterbury Indoor Tournament. We entered 4 teams placing 2nd, 5th, 6th and 9th in Canterbury.  The final match was a nail biter, with our Halswell team just missing out on 1st place. A great effort from all our players. You represented Halswell with pride. Ka pai! 

Volleyball 

Our Halswell Volleyball team had a great day at the Canterbury Indoor Tournament placing 1st in their grade! These students illustrated amazing Halswell values and should be proud of their effort. Congratulations team!
