Owen Franks, Ryan Crotty and Jack Stratton show our school what it takes to be part of the Crusaders

Halswell School pupils and parents gave a warm welcome to Crusaders Owen Franks, Ryan Crotty and Jack Stratton last Friday at the Crusaders community event. The players gave out flags and generously signed a copious number of items for the kids (and some not so small kids). Following a question and answer session, the Crusaders team members demonstrated ball handling skills and played some games. One keen attendee states it "was an awesome opportunity for kids and adults to spend some time chatting to these guys". 

Congratulations to our lucky winner of the Crusaders rugby shirt signed by the entire team. If you missed out this time, there is the opportunity to bid for another of these shirts at an auction at our Urzila Carlson event later in the year.
