School donations and account billing

We have recently sent out our February’s accounts which would normally include a
request for school donations. We have not included this request because the new
Government stated in their election manifesto that they will ensure schooling is free by
offering an extra $150 per student to state schools that don't ask parents for donations.
To date we have not received confirmation of this funding and we understand this is to
be included in their May Budget.
In recent years school donations have earned the school in excess of $70,000 of much
needed funding. However should the Government fail to fulfil their commitment we will
need to include donations later in the year to ensure we can continue to provide the
same high level of service and maintain our capital spending goals to improve the
school’s facilities and environment.
Please ensure that you keep your accounts up to date and paid promptly. Our billing
system is only extended to those who keep their accounts current. Failure to do so will
result in a cash only relationship.
