We had a fantastic Book Week last week! We had an Upcycling theme this year for our activities and it was awesome to see all of the kids creating something new from old library books. There were bookmarks, poems and some creative works of art.

We finished Book Week with our annual Book Character Dress-Up Day. There were lots of excited kids around school, dressed as their favourite book characters, from superheroes and princesses to The Baby-sitter's Club, Tintin characters and the Huritini teachers dressed as Mr Men characters. Thanks to all of the parents who helped to throw together a costume for their children.
