Wellbeing during Covid-19

CATHIE ZELAS —

New resources are available to support student wellbeing.

The Mana Ake team are continuing to support students and whānau while working remotely and have developed a new website with lots of resources to promote wellbeing during the current crisis. This includes information on:

  • talking to your child about Covid-19
  • looking after yourself
  • supporting your child's wellbeing
  • maintaining positive family relationships
  • staying active 

We have also added a student wellbeing page to the Learning at Home section of our school website. In addition to Covid-19 resources, there are more general wellbeing resources covering:

  • managing anxiety
  • sleep
  • emotional regulation
