Epro8 is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) extension competition held across New Zealand. Due to Covid-19 it has been run differently this year with teams assigned a task to create an animal for a mechanical zoo using school-based kits. Each team had a few days to work together to create their animal, write a report and create a 2-minute movie about their creation. We entered four teams all doing really well with three qualifying for the Christchurch semi-finals. These teams will compete in a three-hour competition against 12 other teams in a few weeks time. Please see attached the movies all teams created independently explaining their zoo animal.

Well done to all teams and good luck for the semi-finals!
