Predator Free Port Hills is running a Halswell Trap Building Day on Saturday the 5th of August from 2-3.30pm at Halswell School Te Kura o Te Tauawa!
Help bring back our native birds, lizards and insects by trapping rats in your backyard.
Build a free tunnel trap to take home and get started. Bring a hammer if you have one. Drop in anytime between 2pm and 3.30pm. Gardening gloves recommended.

Also note, in terms of Health and Safety, under the school name, we have not officially assessed the event’s safety management. We trust, that you join, you will take full responsibility for the transportation and safe participation of your child during this trap-building workshop. Please notify Fiona Virtue if you would like to participate in the workshop and confirm that you are happy with these arrangements.
If the weather is wet we will postpone the event and you will be notified of the postponement via Hero communication.
