Girls Night at the Library

We have usually held Girls Night at the Library in Term 1 but I've postponed this until Term 2 as I wanted to make sure we had an interesting author that our girls would enjoy.  Look out for more info next term.  We will also have our Boys Night at the Library later in the year.

Book Fair in Term 2

We hold two Scholastic Book Fairs each year here at Halswell School and our first one will take place in Week 4 of Term 2.  This is always an exciting time which gives you and your children the chance to purchase books for yourself, while supporting our school library at the same time.  There will be more info about this at the start of next term also.

Scholastic Book Club orders due today

Your children should have received a Scholastic Book Club flyer from their teacher.  Today is the last day to get your orders in.  The time frame was shorter this time to allow the book orders to be distributed to your children before the end of term.  Thank you to anyone who did place an order as this means we receive Scholastic Rewards Points to spend on books and resources for our school.
