You may have noticed that we no longer have chickens in the run next to Kāhu. This is due to concerns we had about the welfare of the chickens who were not doing well in this environment. The chickens have now been rehoused at another school that has a much larger and better positioned run for them. 

We are hoping to remove what is left of our chicken run and replace it with a large piece of playground equipment. If you are interested in acquiring the chicken run (at no cost), please contact Sandra in the office.  

This will be on a 'first in, first served' basis with the only condition being that the new owner will need to deconstruct it and take it way over the next few weekends.
