10 of our students represented Halswell School at the Canterbury Duathlon on Monday the 25th of March.

On Monday the 25 March, in very hot and humid conditions, Halswell School competed in the Canterbury Duathlon at Ruapuna Raceway. The team was 

Year 8 : Riley R, Cameron G, Lachlan H, Nikita D

Year 6 : Austin B, Jordan G

Year 5 : Liam C, Hunter H, Zac F, Connor G

All competitors raced well in the hot conditions with our highest placing being earned by Hunter H in the Year 5 boys category - 28th out of 165 competitors.

Thank you to those parents who helped by transporting children and bikes and a special thank you to Sharon Gilmore who was Team Manager on the day.
