We had 36 swimmers attend the Lincoln Zone Swimming Sports at Southbridge pool yesterday.

What a fantastic day out! 36 Halswell swimmers competed against other schools in the Lincoln Zone to try and gain a place in the Canterbury Swimming Sports. All our swimmers competed with enthusiasm and determination, trying their best. It was awesome to see our students encouraging and supporting their peers while they were competing. Each and every one of our swimmers should be proud of themselves and the way they represented our school. A big thank you to Makaia, Cameron and Jourdain, who were timekeepers for the day. You did a great job!

Year 5 Backstroke - Cooper P (1st)

Year 6 Freestyle - George D (2nd)

Year 6 Freestyle - Julia M (1st) and Arrah P (2nd)

Year 7 Freestyle - George Z (2nd) 

Year 6 Breaststroke - Arrah P (1st), Jordan G (2nd) 

Year 6 Relay - Arrah P, Jackson B, George D and Julia M (1st)

These children below also placed 3rd in their year level, which is a fantastic achievement!
