On Friday, 64 children from Years 5 to 8 represented Halswell School at the Lincoln Zone Athletics held at Nga Puna Wai.

We had fantastic results as well as all competitors demonstrating what amazing sports people Halswell students are. Each child showed great sportsmanship and it was fantastic to see them cheering on others in our school at their events. Below are the children that have qualified for the Canterbury Athletics Sports Competition being held on Wednesday 4th of December (Week 8). Only the top two from each event were eligible for the Canterbury event. We had a large number of children who placed third, these children and all the children who made it to the zones should  be incredibly proud of themselves.
