We are running our Summer Reading programme again this year. At this stage of the year I start getting all library books back, but if your children would like to have some books from our library over the holidays they can sign up for Summer Reading. To sign up, children just need to get a sign-up sheet from the library, get it signed by a parent or guardian and bring it back to me in the library. Anyone can sign up as long as they don't have overdue library books and are returning to Halswell in 2022.

Children who sign up can choose their books between Monday 13 - Thursday 16 December (the last day of term). The books will need to be returned in the first two weeks of Term 1, 2022.

Unfortunately, we won't have a Summer Reading launch event, like we did last year, due to COVID restrictions. This means that your children will need to choose their own books during the school day.
