This year’s Meet the Teacher Learning Conferences will be taking place on Wednesday 17 (2pm-6.30pm) and Thursday 18 February (3.30pm-8pm). The purpose of these conferences is for T group teachers, parents and children to meet to discuss strengths and areas for improvement and to set goals for the upcoming year. A pre-conference form will be sent home next week for families to complete to help guide the discussion.

To book a conference please visit the school interviews website and enter the following Halswell School code fj5bm. Bookings will close at 3pm on Monday 15 February and are made on a first-in first-served basis.

We encourage all children to attend the conferences but if you would like to discuss anything without your child present, please let the T group teacher know at the beginning of the conference and the last 5 minutes will be reserved for this.

Finally, to ensure there are enough slots available for all families, classes will be finishing at 1.30pm on Wednesday 17 February. Please make arrangements to collect your child(ren) at this time. If you are unable to do so, supervision will be provided in Learning Centre blue rooms until 3pm. If you would like to take up this opportunity, please click here to complete a Google form.
