Calling all Year 4/5 parents (or anyone else)

Over the last year over $5,000 was raised by the tuckshop and sausage sizzle for the Year 5/6 and Year 7/8 school camps to reduce the overall cost for parents. Traditionally the Year 7/8s have assisted with the sausage sizzle and more recently the tuckshop has been coordinated and run by Year 4/5/6 parents.

Funds are now being raised for next year's camp and more volunteers are needed to help on Thursday mornings collecting and collating orders and particularly at Friday lunchtime when the food is delivered. The number of Thursdays or Fridays each term depends on the number of volunteers so please consider helping out. 

Our Tuckshop Coordinator is having to step down from the end of term 3 due to work commitments so we will also be looking to fill the role from the beginning of term 4. 

All money raised goes directly to the camps and benefits each and every child as they move through the school system, so please email pta@halswell.school.nz if you can lend a hand.
