This week at Halswell School, we have been taking part in Road Safety Week.  Our Huritini Student council members (Luke, Zoe, Carter and Lachlan) have organised a colouring competition for the Y0-4s and a road safety poster competition for the Y5-8s.

We also had Pedalmania at the school on Wednesday and the Y4-8 students had a fantastic time riding the crazy bikes.  Special thanks to the PTA for organising and funding this.

On Friday the Y0-2s will have a Scooter Day as a special Road Safety week treat.

The theme for Road Safety week 2023 has been Road Safety Heroes.  At Halswell School we have a team of Road Safety Heroes made up of Senior students and a small group of parents who help with the Halswell Road crossing.  We would like to acknowledge and thank our Heroes for the time that they dedicate to keeping the Halswell children safe.
