As we near the end of an unprecedented year, the Board of Trustees would like to thank Stuart and our great team of staff for all their hard work in 2020. There have been a number of challenges, and we have been impressed, and grateful, for their continued commitment, professionalism and hard work. We’re sure that the whole school community is hopeful for a much less ‘interesting’ year in 2021.

The school holidays will see further development occurring around the school as part of the School Investment Programme and this is likely to continue into the new school year with the construction of the astroturf court. We will also recommence our Community Consultation process in relation to the Strategic Plan, early in the new school year. This was disappointingly postponed due to the uncertainty and interruptions caused by Covid-19, and we are excited to get that back underway.

We would like to wish our Halswell School leavers all the best for their future studies, and hope all families, staff and students have a relaxing, enjoyable summer break.
