Kapa Haka Uniform Sewing Bee - More Help Needed

Parent Teacher Association at Halswell School —

Sunday 11 August from 10am

We have 95 girls' skirts and tops to make this Sunday and are hoping to make a start on the boys' outfits but we need more help. The girls' tops need to be printed with a variation of our Halswell School tree before our Kapa Haka group performs at the Tuhono Festival on the 13 September so they need to be completed soon.

An extremely basic pattern and full instructions will be provided so you only need to be able to sew in a straight line to help out. If sewing is not your thing, we also need people to cut and pin.

We will be in the Year 7/8 block from 10am on Sunday so feel free to arrive whenever you can make it. A light lunch will be provided along with tea and coffee.

Many thanks to those who have already volunteered to give us a hand on Sunday, we will be in touch shortly to confirm details.

Please email pta@halswell.school.nz if you can help.
