Term 2 review covers EOTC. Education Outside the Classroom.

Te Kura o te Tauawa Halswell School uses SchoolDocs to review and update our policies and procedures. Each term, parents, staff and the Board have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on specific policies and procedures. 

In 2023, all schools are reviewing EOTC Education Outside the Classroom. In Term 2, the focus is on:

  • EOTC Risk Management
  • EOTC Coordinator
  • EOTC External Providers
  • EOTC Staff Competence
  • EOTC Event Categories
  • EOTC Communicating with Parents

If you would like to take part in these reviews, please follow the instructions below: 

1. Visit the SchoolDocs website 
2. Enter the username (halswell) and password (quarry).
3. Follow the link to the relevant policy as listed.
4. Read the policy.
5. Click the Policy Review button at the top right-hand corner of the page.
6. Select the reviewer type "Parent".
7. Enter your name (optional).
8. Submit your ratings and comments.
9. If you don't have internet access, school office staff can provide you with printed copies of the policy and a review form.
