We are stuck in the opening pages of a famous novel, Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. Phileas Fogg has announced to the world that a man may travel around the world in eighty days! So strong are Phileas’ beliefs, that he has placed half his fortune in this wager. His French assistant, Passepartout, has secured the use of a hot air balloon for their voyage, however, there is a problem…other travellers have boarded the hot air balloon, and refuse to leave. The other travellers are a misfit band of characters from folktales from around the world who have lost their way, and become trapped within the wrong story. They each carry an item which is a hint to the folktale in which they belong. Phileas agrees to help them find where they belong, and a journey around the world in 8 folktales commences.
