Run to Remember

The Press Run to Remember has always honoured lives lost and affected by the Canterbury region’s earthquakes. Given the significant challenges our region has faced since, including the Port Hills fires and March 15th attacks, this event takes on even greater meaning. On Sunday 21st February, we encourage the school community to join together, by getting active and enjoying the outdoors, and taking the opportunity to reflect and remember.

For families you have a choice between doing the 10km run or walk, which starts at Victoria Park and finishes at Hansen Park, by going along the summit road. Or be involved with the Life Education 1.5km stride, which is at Hansen Park. On the day there will be children’s activities and entertainment! Bring the whanau, the picnic blanket and the enjoy the sun in Hansen Park.

OSCAR at Halswell Spaces Available

Oscar at Halswell currently has spaces available in our Before School Programme, and limited spaces in our After School Programme. Oscar is based onsite at Halswell School. Enrolment forms also available from the school office.

Before School Programme runs from 7.15am. After School to 6pm.
