Final Wrap Up For Term 3

Rob Naysmith —

Welcome to the final Newsletter for Term 3. It has been a busy and productive term.

Thanks to those people who have given feedback on our Reporting Student Progress Survey if you haven't already we would appreciate it. Please follow this link, the survey closes on Friday.

Thanks also to those who have let the office know about any New Entrant children who will be starting with us next year, and also to those who have filled in the form informing us of children not returning. Both of these pieces of information are critical as we start to organise the school for 2020. If you do have children either starting in 2020 or not returning in 2020, please let us know a.s.a.p. this does not include our Year 8 children.

Last week we had two cultural festivals that our Kapa Haka group performed in. The 80 strong group performed admirably performing to a very high standard. A big thank you to Mātua Steve and the teachers who organise and run the group, Lisa Dovey, Brooke McFaul, Ben Qauqau, Sarah Rogatski and Mandy Dellaca. Another big thank you to the PTA and all the parent helpers who created our fabulous new Kapa Haka uniforms, the kids looked fantastic.

Our Vanuatu Year 7 and 8 travellers are having a great time. So far they have visited schools, been swimming/snorkelling and had several different cultural experiences. They will have more of an update for us when they return.

We have an exciting Sunday coming up with What Now filming here at school. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun.

If you love the rugby make sure you read the article with info on free tickets.

The last day of Term 3 is next Friday 27th September we will have our Carnival Sport Day on from 11am so if you can it would be great to see you down here. The first day of term 4 is Monday 14th October, we look forward to welcoming everyone back for the final term of the year.
