At our October meeting it was great to have Lisa Dovey join us to share about the recent Vanuatu trip and join our discussion about future overseas trips. From the boards discussion it was decided that, to give our parents and children the best opportunity to plan for these trips, from now on they will be alternating each year between Samoa and Vanuatu, with Samoa first up in 2020.
We are also planning a follow up meeting to our strategic planning day, that was held in the last week of term 3 with the senior leadership and team leaders of the school. This was a valuable and constructive session to further build our relationships with the leaders of the school, and openly discuss what we see the key values of the school to be in the coming years.
