Student Leader of Inclusivity, Matthew Lee, reports on this special day.

Monday the 28th of June was International Pride Day.  As a statement and symbol of our school's support for creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students, we flew the pride flag on that day.  HBHS has always been and will continue to be a space where all students, regardless of who they are, where they come from, or what they believe in, are valued and respected.  In the coming weeks, the school will be making further announcements that will back up this statement of support with real, tangible action.  The HBHS HEART Initiative is very grateful to Mrs Hassall and the Executive for being so supportive and always respecting the voices of students in matters such as this.
