New Zealand Under 19 Māori Ki-o-rahi Representative and Winners of the Tapuwha Trophy

Koewyn (Year 11) was selected and played for the New Zealand Under 19 Māori Ki-o-rahi Team, along with HBHS day student, Te Ao Samson (Year 11).

They won all three games, with the highlight being the win over the highly fancied New Zealand Under 19 Schools team.
