The team of fourteen for 2024 to guide our young men through the year in a wide range of activities and the day-to-day running of the Hostel have excelled over the first six weeks, introducing and implementing some new initiatives that have added genuine value to the Hostel in this short period of time. The senior leadership team is led by Argyle House Head Prefect, Stefan Newman.

Mr Rahiti Teokotai-White, Senior Master, is the Master that oversees student leadership within the Hostel, meets weekly with them and provides the support and guidance throughout the year to enable them to carry out their various roles in the Hostel.

Jay Wilson, Deputy Head Prefect, from Te Akau

• Deputy Argyle House Captain

• Responsible for the Matthew Allen Cup competition

• Responsible for the Argyle Brotherhood Club

Rhys Laker, Deputy Head Prefect, from Mangatawhiri

Roles: 

• Administration & Publication:

Henry Seavill, Head of Bennett, from Cambridge

Roles: 

• Responsible for organising Bennett House teams

• Assist Deputy Head Prefect with event set-up  

Tom Martin, Head of Sutherland, from Taupō

Roles: 

• Responsible for organising Sutherland House teams

• Assist Deputy Head Prefect with event set-up 

Dylan McConnell, Head of Grove, from Pukekohe

Role: 

Management of Grove - the Year 13 single room studio accommodation across the road from Hamilton Boys' High School i.e. job roster, oversee jobs completed, food supplies, Year 13 supervision roster for Junior Prep room.
