This award is given to students who embody the principles of Manaaki - to cherish, conserve, and sustain.

The winners of this award have shown these virtues as leaders in the Multicultural Manaaki Centre, which supports and empowers former refugee students.

The trophy this year has been won jointly by Alex Devitt and Janadhee Balasooriya.
