At the beginning of June, Year 12 student James Climo was invited to the Red Bull Junior Brothers training camp alongside 12 other Under 19 riders from all around the world.

The camp was held in Salzburg, Austria from the 3rd to the 7th of June. Over the week James had to complete many physical and medical tests. From the testing, the professional road team, Bora Hansgrohe, and their development team would select two riders who stood out to them to join the development team for the 2025 season. This was a great opportunity for James but, unfortunately, he did not get selected for the team. James says that "just being there and being selected to the final 13 riders was a win for me because well over 600 riders applied and did the testing at home to try to get in so just getting this opportunity felt as if I was a winner".
