Four HBHS students were selected for the Waikato Secondary Schools Volleyball Team to compete at the National Tournament.

Tamwi Metai, Hikawera Puriri, Munro Inoke and Moses Mapa made the Waikato Under 17 Volleyball team that travelled to Wellington during Queen's Birthday weekend.  They all performed well over the weekend beating the previous champions Wellington, and eventual champions North Harbour in some thrilling matches.  It was really positive to see these boys continue to progress their knowledge of the game and showcase their skills at a National level.
